Pilates is a type of exercise and body conditioning. It highlights precise movements, controlled breathing, and muscle engagement, enhancing muscle tone and stability. Pilates focuses on core strength through structured exercises and slowly gets more challenging. The Pilates method (including the reformer apparatus) were invented in the early 20th century by German physical trainer Joseph Pilates and have evolved and expanded.

Yes, we have a waitlist.
If the class you want to attend is full, we recommend getting on the waitlist. When space opens up, you will receive an email confirming your spot. We promise, the waitlist will move!
You can be added to the waitlist up to 2 hours before class. After that, if a spot becomes available, we will text you to see if you’d like the spot.
You will have to purchase a class membership or class pack in order to reserve your spot on the waitlist.
If you are on the waitlist and are added into the class you will be held to our late cancellation policy. If you can no longer attend class please remove yourself from the waitlist. If you do not get added to the class from the waitlist, you will be able to use your class credit for a future booking.
You can confirm where you are in line on the waitlist by checking the lineup on your schedule in your account.

Absolutely! All levels are welcome. At your first class, your instructor will walk you through the machine and give you a tour of the studio. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. If you are late to class as a beginner, we will not be able to let you take class for safety reasons.
Private sessions are a great way to get the most out of your sessions as a beginner. If you are interested in booking a private session, email info@fortepilatesstudio.com.

Congratulations, Mama!
Every pregnancy is unique, and each trimester can be different. It’s important to listen to your body and adjust accordingly.
Our Policy:
First Trimester: You are welcome to attend our Sculpt & Advanced Sculpt classes, but please notify the instructor that you are pregnant.
Second & Third Trimester: To ensure your safety, a doctor’s approval is required before participating in classes.
Second Trimester Modifications: Pregnant clients must follow the instructor’s prenatal modifications and may only attend Sculpt, Beginner, or Pre/Postnatal classes. We typically begin modifications around 14-16 weeks.
Our goal is to ensure that all our clients, especially those expecting, have a safe and positive experience at Forte Pilates.
If you'd like to schedule a private session, please email us at info@fortepilatesstudio.com.

Congratulations, Mama! Please get cleared from your doctor before returning to practice (~6-12 weeks depending). We suggest booking a few private sessions while you are easing back into movement so that we can build out a training plan tailored to fit your needs. Otherwise, please book our Beginner/ Pre and Postnatal and inform the instructor so that we can provide modifications for you.
